SUMMARY

The Rams Club seeks Student Workers to help with the 2025 Kenan Seat Selection process for the membership. You will primarily work with the Director of Ticketing and Parking Operations and the Member Services team. Anticipated start date: April 16, 2025. Anticipated end date: May 22, 2025. Anticipated hours per week: 16-20.

 

REQUIREMENTS

NECESSARY SKILLS:

  • Proficient computer skills with a strong knowledge of computer systems, software applications, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to adjust communication style based on the customer’s needs.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Anticipated 16-20 hours per week.
  • Ability to see, hear, speak, maintain cognitive function at a high level and move about the office, along with ability to lift 20 pounds.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Current Undergraduate or Graduate student at UNC Chapel Hill.
  • Familiarity and basic knowledge of College Athletics preferred.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist Donors with Seat Selection: Answer incoming phone calls from donors and provide guidance through the Kenan Seat Selection process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for each donor.
  • Navigate Ballena Software: Use the Ballena software to assist donors in selecting their seats and parking preferences. Walk donors through the platform, answering questions and troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Maintain a professional and empathetic tone while interacting with donors, addressing their needs and concerns efficiently. Strive to deliver a high-quality, personalized experience on every call.
  • Multitask Effectively: Manage multiple phone calls and tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with the Director of Ticketing and Parking Operations and other team members to ensure all donor needs are met and that processes run smoothly. Provide support to colleagues as needed to ensure the success of the team.
