Eric Montross and Sue Walsh are two of Carolina’s most accomplished Tar Heels – capturing the true Carolina student-athlete spirit. They represent the best of what student-athletes have to offer as members of a Carolina community that promotes academic excellence, sportsmanship, loyalty, hard work, dedication and, above all, service.
The Montross-Walsh Scholarship will celebrate the contributions of these two outstanding servant leaders – and will be awarded annually to student-athletes who embody the same qualities for which Eric and Sue are so well-known. Please consider taking part in this incredible opportunity to touch the lives of future servant leaders – and to honor Eric and Sue for their examples of service and excellence.
Scholarship is the Foundation of Opportunity
The Carolina student-athlete experience begins for most with a scholarship. Scholarship donors provide the opportunities for more than 500 gifted student-athletes annually to gain a world-class education while competing for one of the nation’s top athletics programs. The Montross-Walsh Scholarship will be a valuable addition to the foundation of those opportunities – the Scholarship Endowment.
We ask you to help answer this challenge gift with a gift of your own in honor of Eric and Sue.
Your support will celebrate the excellence for which they and Carolina are known while enhancing the Scholarship Endowment about which they care so deeply. Your gift will strengthen Carolina’s ability to offer the best student-athlete experience in the country to future Tar Heels.
