Lee Roberts joined The Rams Club as Deputy Director in November 2025, and brings a strong background in athletics fundraising, most recently serving as Executive Associate Athletic Director for Philanthropy & Engagement at the University of Pittsburgh. In that role, he led all fundraising and alumni engagement efforts for Pitt Athletics through the Panther Club and Varsity Letter Club, and he also oversaw the Pitt Ticket Office. Under his leadership, the Panther Club achieved significant growth in a short time. Before Pitt, Lee held positions at Chattanooga and Michigan, bringing a wealth of experience and industry insight that will be a tremendous asset to the organization.

A double Tar Heel, Lee earned his Bachelor degree in journalism and mass communication in 2004 and his Master in sport administration in 2012. While in graduate school at Carolina, Lee worked in Carolina Athletics game operations and served as an annual giving graduate assistant with The Rams Club.

In his role, Lee will bring a valuable perspective to The Rams Club. He will be integral in strengthening relationships with both internal and external partners, while also serving as a frontline fundraising leader. Lee and his family – his wife, Sarah, and their sons, Harris and Henry – live in Chapel Hill.
