Beth serves as the Senior Philanthropy Officer for the Rams Club.  Beth specializes in complex charitable gifts that require some measure of tax, legal or financial planning. She partners with donors, their advisors, and other gift officers to cultivate and facilitate smart philanthropic strategies to support scholarships, capital projects, team support and other identified priorities of the Rams Club and its supporters.

Prior to joining the Rams Club team, Beth served as the Senior Director of Gift Planning at Carolina where she partnered with fundraisers campus-wide, including the Vice Chancellor of Development and the Principal Gifts team, to secure private support for the University. Prior to her work in development, Beth was a tax consultant at KPMG LLP and advised clients on a variety of tax strategies and compliance matters.

Beth received her B.A. in American Studies & English from William Smith College, her J.D. from North Carolina Central University, and her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida.  She is a licensed member of the North Carolina Bar.

A native of Chapel Hill, Beth lives in Mebane with her husband Alex and their family.
