While both Men’s Basketball and Women’s Basketball are taking on Duke this week, The Rams Club has a competition of its own against the rivals from eight miles down the road.

The Our Blue Is Best Challenge, which runs Feb. 27 – March 5, pits The Rams Club at Carolina against the Iron Dukes at Duke in a challenge to see which donor and fan base can best support their team’s student-athletes with the most new members and most money raised. The two organizations are tracking their week-long battle daily at ramsclub.com/ourblueisbest.

Each person who donates directly toward the Our Blue Is Best Challenge, joins The Rams Club during the competition or refers a new member to join will be eligible for daily giveaways.

The cost of supporting those Tar Heels has greatly increased with tuition costs almost tripling in the past 20 years.

These rising costs have threatened Carolina’s ability to provide student-athlete scholarships.
