Since 1938, Rams Club members have provided educational and athletic opportunities for the outstanding student-athletes at the University of North Carolina. Over the past eight decades, these loyal donors have made an incredible impact on the lives of thousands of Tar Heels through endowed, annual and capital gifts and transformative experiences.

Rams Club members have perennially been champions for women’s athletics, providing for the 15 women’s teams in Chapel Hill in a variety of ways. From state-of-the-art facilities, such as Karen Shelton Stadium and Dorrance Field, to scholarships and team support, these donors have played a crucial role in the rich history of women’s athletics at Carolina – and will continue to promote excellence through opportunity. The FORevHER Tar Heels initiative, launched in 2019, continues to champion Carolina’s female student athletes and their future by building community through financial support of each of UNC’s teams through scholarships, projects and a mentorship program.
