The Rams Club needs to grow in order to guarantee support for our student-athletes. The Rams Club is committed to engaging all Carolina fans and ask for their financial support in addition to their cheering voices so that the championship experience of competing at Carolina can be sustained.
The Rams Club, the development organization of Carolina Athletics, is currently seeking a dynamic candidate to serve as an Assistant Director of Communications. The principal responsibility of the Assistant Director is to create, develop, and implement digital marketing campaigns to attract and retain members, primarily through social media, email, and web.
The successful candidate will produce creative and engaging content that is visually appealing, tells our unique stories, and is brand consistent. The ideal candidate for this position will be well-versed in digital marketing, customer engagement, and have a background in and appreciation for college athletics, fundraising, and the donor/customer experience.
* Candidates that move on to the interview process will be asked to provide a portfolio of digital content for which he/she is responsible, such as digital media campaigns, graphic designs, videos, etc.

A development intern is needed to assist The Rams Club with daily functions of the organization. The position will primarily assist the Member Services Team but will also have various responsibilities across all areas of The Rams Club. The Rams Club seeks a student worker with strong knowledge and understanding of social media and digital/print communications. The intern will support the Communications team through social media publishing, content creation, and other tasks. The intern will build upon their social media background and will learn fundraising communication skills through a wide scope of projects, such as print publications, video, and other collateral. This position will be a vital role in establishing an effective workflow for the Communications team. This position is unpaid, but class credit can be given.

Assistant Director of Communications

Will joined The Rams Club in February 2020 as the assistant director of communications to create, develop and implement digital marketing campaigns.
After he graduated from Carolina in 2013 with a degree in journalism and German literature, Will worked as a production assistant for Fox Sports. He then served in a seasonal position with a professional soccer team in Charlotte as the director of operations before returning to Chapel Hill, first with the journalism school then with the University’s central communications department.
A native of Charlotte, Will lives in Chapel Hill, where he enjoys playing and coaching volleyball and social dancing.

Emily joined The Rams Club staff in 2019. She is responsible for the solicitation and cultivation of major gifts to advance the Campaign for Carolina Athletics.
Emily graduated from UNC in 1996 with a B.A. in Education, double-major in Physical Education and Communication Studies. While a student, Emily worked at the Phonathon, in the Carolina Football Office with Coach Mack Brown and at the North Carolina High School Athletic Association with the late great Charlie Adams.
Emily received a M.A. in Sports Administration from Ohio University in 1997. After graduate school, she interned at the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics and the National Association of Athletics Development Directors in Cleveland, OH, then worked as marketing manager at Host Communications, Inc. in Dallas, TX, before returning home as an account executive at Tar Heel Sports Properties in Chapel Hill, NC.
Since 2001, Emily has served in key fundraising roles here at Carolina in the Office of University Development, the Arts & Sciences Foundation and the Medical Foundation of North Carolina, Inc.
Emily was born in Norfolk, VA, Tar Heel bred in Smithfield, NC, and resides in Chapel Hill.
Executive Director of The Rams Club

John Montgomery was named Executive Director of the Educational Foundation, Inc. in 2001. His responsibilities include oversight of a dynamic fundraising organization that provides educational and athletics opportunities for Tar Heel student-athletes. In 2009, he was named the Division I Fundraiser of the Year by the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD).
Prior to his time at the Rams Club, John let the fundraising efforts at Radford University, UNC Greensboro and Southern Methodist University.
He received his undergraduate degree from Radford before earning his Master’s in Sport Administration from Western Illinois University.
A native of Pembroke, VA, John and his wife, Sharie, now reside in Pittsboro and they have two sons, Patrick and Ryan.
Chief Financial Officer & General Counsel

Diane serves as the Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel for The Rams Club and is responsible for all legal and financial matters.
Diane graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UNC in 1988 earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She also attended UNC for law school and earned a JD with honors in 1994.
Prior to joining The Rams Club staff in 2002 Diane practiced law for over seven years, concentrating on corporate law, real estate law, and general commercial litigation. Diane is also a Certified Public Accountant, having worked with Ernst & Young in Raleigh before returning to law school to pursue her law degree.
A native of Cary, NC, Diane and her husband, Sid, live in Chapel Hill.

Jayne serves as the Gift Coordinator for the Major Gifts and the Scholarship and Legacy Gifts Teams. In her role, Jayne assists with fundraising, donor relations and student-athlete activities. She also assists with special events and is responsible for meeting planning. Prior to The Rams Club, she worked for the UNC Football program as the afternoon receptionist and also provided administrative assistance to the Strength and Conditioning coaches.
Jayne graduated from NC Wesleyan College with a BS in Business Administration. Her career includes working as an Executive Assistant and Financial Analyst at GlaxoSmithKline and a Purchasing Agent at Duke Medical Center. She also has experience in marketing, sales, and fundraising initiatives for various organizations throughout the Triangle area.
A native of Durham, NC, Jayne and her husband Mike, live in Mebane. They have two sons, Spence and Luke.
Director of Member Services

Brian serves as the Director of Member Services, as well as part of the Rams Club Leadership Team. His primary responsibilities include coordinating the Member Services Team which oversees events, stewardship, tickets and parking, and hospitality.
Brian graduated from UNC in 2001 with a BA in Geography. He was a four-year letterman with the UNC basketball program during his time as a student-athlete. During his career Brian played in two Final Fours and won 2 ACC championships.
Prior to his current role with The Rams Club Brian spent 10 years working in the UNC Ticket Office as the Associate Director of Ticket Operations, as well as 4 years as the Director of Member Benefits with the Rams Club.
A native of Virginia Beach, VA, Brian currently lives in Durham with his wife Beth, a 2006 UNC graduate and Women's Golf letter winner, and their sons, Grayson and Quinn.
Regional Annual Fund Director

Willem serves as the Regional Annual Fund Director located in Wilmington, NC. His primary responsibilities include servicing donors on the eastern seaboard, finding new members and upgrading current members to better support our student athletes.
Willem graduated from UNC-Greensboro in 2011 with a BA in Business and Organizational Communication. While at UNCG, he worked for the athletic department in Game Day Operations and Sales.
Before transitioning into his fundraising role, Willem worked in Sales for the Rams Club with the Fan Development Team. Prior to joining the Rams Club, Willem worked as a Premium Sales Executive with the Atlanta Falcons.
A native of Gouda, The Netherlands, Willem currently lives in Wilmington, NC with his wife Martha Parke.

Mary Brooke serves as Accountant for the Rams Club and is responsible for supporting the Chief Financial Officer and Controller with all financial related matters including processing vendor invoices, tracking capital projects, and various account reconciliations.
Mary Brooke graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, and then continued to receive a degree in Accounting from Guilford College in 2011. Prior to coming to work for the Rams Club in 2015, she worked in tax accounting, and as a Financial Analyst/Accountant for a large educational publishing firm in Greensboro, NC. Originally from Siler City, NC; Mary Brooke currently resides in Chapel Hill and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Jordan works with the Major Gifts and Operations team to provide general support and to help facilitate the current University-wide capital campaign. She joined The Rams Club staff in 2014 as a member of the former Carolina Fan Development Team.
Jordan graduated from N.C. State University with a B.S. in Sport Management. Prior to working for The Rams Club, she spent five seasons in Minor League Baseball, working for the Carolina Mudcats and the Gwinnett Braves in a variety of community relations and sales roles.
A native of Chapel Hill, Jordan currently lives in Durham. She enjoys rooting for the Heels and cherishes spending time with family, friends and her rescue Golden Retriever, Charlie.

Gary joined The Rams Club staff in 2013 and is responsible for the solicitation and cultivation of major gifts.
Gary graduated from UNC in 1982 with a BS in Industrial Relations. A three-time lacrosse All-America Selection during his time at UNC, Gary was a part of two NCAA Championships.
Prior to his work with The Rams Club, Gary worked in real estate development for East West Partners.
Gary resides in Chapel Hill with his wife Jami, a two time UNC-graduate. They have two children- Casey and Stephen. Casey, a 2010 UNC graduate and Morehead-Cain Scholar, was a member of two NCAA Championship UNC field hockey teams. Stephen also graduated from UNC in 2013 and was a member of the UNC Men's Lacrosse team.

Karlie serves as the Director of Membership & Lead Annual Gifts. Her primary responsibilities include strategizing new member campaigns to drive membership growth, identify opportunities to improve member retention, and oversee member programs such as the Student Rams Club and Recent Graduate program. Additionally, Karlie works to cultivate and solicit Annual Fund donors to better support our student-athletes.
Karlie graduated from Presbyterian College in 2014 with a B.A. in Business Administration. Prior to coming on board with The Rams Club, Karlie worked in fundraising and events at PC overseeing all university events, managing the senior campaign, and maintaining a portfolio of recent graduate and leadership donors.
A native of Tega Cay, S.C., Karlie and her husband, Matt, live in Chapel Hill, N.C. with their daughter, Kennedy.
Gift Processing Administrator

Velvet's primary responsibilities with The Rams Club include daily donor management for payments and tax receipts, gift processing, contact for membership issues based on membership prerequisites and benefits, account questions, and reclassification of payments. She also conducts reporting from the website and existing donors as well as assists with Rams Club special events.
Velvet graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1997 with a BS in Sport Administration. Prior to her current role she served as the Women and Combination Sports Assistant at the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.
A native of Liberty Hill, South Carolina, Velvet currently lives in Raleigh.

Brian's primary responsibility include the cultivation and solicitation of major gifts for Scholarships, Capital Campaigns and Sport Endowments. Previously, Brian was the Director of Sales & Fan Development and Director of Scholarship Donor Development & Student – Athlete Relations.
Brian - a football scholarship student-athlete - graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2006 with a degree in Sociology. During his time at Carolina, the football team went to the Peach Bowl in 2001 and the Continental Tire Bowl in 2004. Brian's father, Andy Chacos 74', also played for the Tar Heels under Bill Dooley as a tight end.
Prior to working with The Rams Club, Brian was employed as a Technical Director for Insight Global Inc., an Account Executive for the Atlanta Falcons front office, a Business Development Executive for the Carolina Hurricanes front office and an Executive for Sales/Marketing and Radio for WCHL.
Brian is involved with many local community organizations as a Board Member for Habitat for Humanity – Orange County, NC, Board of Directors Member for The National Football Foundation – Bill Dooley Chapter, UNC Lineberger Community Engagement Committee Member, SECU Family House – YP Board Member, Board Of Directors Member and Ambassador for the Carolina Club, member of the East Chapel Hill Rotary Club.
A native of Darien, CT, Brian now resides in Chapel Hill with his wife, Courtney, their daughter, Zoe Violet and son Jasper.
Senior Director of Finance

Emily serves as the Senior Director of Finance for The Rams Club, overseeing the day to day accounting functions. She is the contact person for stock and wire transfers. She helps maintain general ledger and accounting records, assist with financial reporting requirements, assist with the audit, budget, and tax preparation, and respond to other special requests and inquires.
Emily graduated from UNC in 1997 earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She also graduated from UNC with a Master of Accounting in 1998.
Prior to joining The Rams Club staff in October 2015, Emily worked as Cash Manager for over seven years, with The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Emily is also a Certified Public Accountant, having worked with Stout, Stuart, McGowen & King, LLP in Burlington for 9 years before returning to UNC Chapel Hill to work as a Merchant Card Accountant for a 2 years.
A native of Graham, NC, Emily still resides there with her husband Rodney and their daughter Allee.

Jacob serves as the Director of Ticketing & Parking Operations and his primary responsibilities include ticketing and parking operations for Men's Basketball and Football.
Jacob graduated from UNC in 2013 with a B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science (Sport Administration) and from UGA in 2015 with a M.S. in Kinesiology – Sport Management and Policy.
Prior to his current role with The Rams Club, Jacob served as the Director of Ticket Operations and Sales for Campbell University, Assistant Director of Ticket Services for East Carolina University, a Graduate Assistant in Ticket Operations for the University of Georgia, and as a Ticket Office intern for UNC.
A native of Lillington, NC, Jacob currently lives in Angier with his wife Olivia.
Development Intern – Member Services

Elizabeth joined The Rams Club staff in June 2020 as a Development Intern, working with the Member Services Team. Her primary responsibilities include serving as the front line of communication for all Rams Club members, assisting in the management of the Student Rams Club and Recent Grad programs and helping with game days and special events.
Prior to her current position, Elizabeth worked at the NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis, Ind. as the NCAA Division I Governance Postgraduate Intern. There, she worked with Division I committees, including the Division I Council, Board of Directors, Presidential Forum and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She was involved with the planning and implementation of programs for the Division I membership, student-athletes and the NCAA Convention.
Simultaneously, Elizabeth was also a gameday operations intern for the Indianapolis Colts during the 2019 NFL season. Her responsibilities for the franchise included operating the customer service and ticket information kiosks throughout Luca Oil Stadium, assisting with mobile ticketing and executing pregame and postgame group experiences.
Elizabeth graduated from the University of North Carolina Asheville in 2019 with a B.A. in Economics. While at Asheville, she was a four-year women’s swimming student-athlete and also served on the NCAA Division I National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and the NCAA Division I Competition Oversight Committee. During her time at Asheville, Elizabeth was a Media & Donor Engagement Assistant, where she was involved with current donors during home athletic events and other fundraising activities.
Elizabeth is a native of Chapel Hill, N.C. and now resides in Chapel Hill with her family.

Lizzie serves as the Director of the Annual Fund and her primary responsibilities include managing the annual membership cycle and maintaining the donor database.
Lizzie graduated from UNC in 2012 with a B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science (Sport Administration).
Prior to her current role with The Rams Club, Lizzie served as the Rams Club Member Services Coordinator, Assistant Director of Ticket Operations for NC State, Ticket Office Assistant for UConn, and Ticket Office student intern for UNC.
A native of Burlington, NC, Lizzie currently lives in Hillsborough with her husband Zack, a two-time UNC graduate and Men's Track and Field letter winner.

Nick's primary responsibilities are growing Rams Club membership and implementing strategies to improve the use of technology within the organization.
A four-year swimming student-athlete, Nick graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science. Nick graduated from UNC with a Master's degree in Sport Administration in 2012 and has been with The Rams Club since 2011.
Prior to his current role, Nick served as the Director of Growth & Innovation and as the Director of Annual Campaigns.
A native of New Brighton, MN, Nick, his wife Audrey and their daughters Faye and Ruby currently live in Durham.
Carolina Athletic Hospitality Intern

Madison's responsibilities as Intern of Carolina Athletic Hospitality include overseeing the hiring of FANgineers for football, basketball, and baseball game days.
Madison recently graduated from UNC with a B.A. in Sport Administration and a minor in Music. She worked as a FANgineer for Carolina Athletic Hospitality in her undergraduate time and was a manager for the JV and Varsity Men's Basketball teams.
Madison is from Fayetteville, NC.
Administrative Coordinator

Janine's primary responsibility in The Rams Club is to serve as the Executive Assistant to John Montgomery. She assists with maintaining the office, John's schedule and requests, and the scheduling of conference rooms in the Ernie Williamson Athletic Center. In her spare time, she enjoys attending UNC sporting events and walking.
Janine's career began working as a dental assistant in Chapel Hill for over 15 years, and as an administrative assistant - for a large law firm here in Chapel Hill.
Janine is a native and current resident of Chapel Hill along with her husband, Lantz. They have two daughters, Courtney and Brittany.
Data Analyst

Matt currently serves as a Data Analyst working with both The Rams Club and Carolina Athletics. His primary responsibilities include data preparation, analysis and reporting to evaluate performance and impact of analytics initiatives.
Matt graduated from Carolina in 2016 with a dual bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Decision Sciences. Matt worked with the Women's Soccer team during his four years in undergrad, including during their National Championship in 2012.
Matt continued his education at Carolina and graduated in 2018 with a master's degree in Statistics. During his time as a graduate student, Matt continued working with the Women's Soccer team and served as a data analyst intern with Carolina Athletics.
Originally a native of Kansas City, MO, Matt has lived in Chapel Hill since 1997.

Grant's primary responsibilities include the cultivation and solicitation of major gifts for Scholarships, Capital Campaigns and Sport Endowments.
Grant – a four-year basketball scholarship student-athlete – graduated from Butler University with a BS in Finance. While at Butler he competed in back-to-back NCAA National Championship games. After graduation Grant served as a Postgraduate Intern at the NCAA in Indianapolis before moving to Chapel Hill to attend graduate school.
Grant graduated from UNC with a master's degree in Sport Administration in 2014. Prior to his current role, Grant worked in The Rams Club as Assistant Director of Major Gifts and graduate intern.
Grant lives in Durham with his wife, Kylee, and their son, Luke.

As the Assistant Director of Member Services, Allie's primary responsibilities include stewardship, engagement, hospitality and special events.
Allie graduated from the University of North Carolina with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. While earning her master's degree in Sport Administration from UNC, she interned with The Rams Club's Annual Fund Team. Most recently, she served as the Assistant Director of Carolina Athletic Hospitality. In addition to her work with The Rams Club, Allie has worked for GoHeels Productions and the Charlotte Hornets.
A native of Winston-Salem, Allie now lives in Chapel Hill with her husband, Ochuko.

Ken's primary responsibility with The Rams Club as Associate Executive Director include Major Gifts, parking, and ticketing.
Ken graduated from UNC in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in developmental psychology. While earning his degree he was a three-year letterman on the football team. Upon graduation he served the UNC football program for one year as a graduate assistant.
In 1982 Ken was named the running backs coach at the University of Virginia. He remained there for 14 years before returning to UNC in 1996. He served as an assistant coach until joining the Development Office as a Regional Development Officer in January 2000.
A native of Goldsboro, NC, Ken and his daughter, Alex, live in Chapel Hill.
Director of Scholarship Donor Relations

Don's primary responsibilities as the Director of Scholarship Donor Relations include the solicitation and cultivation of major gifts. He also works extensively with football project efforts and is the liaison with UNC football letterman.
Don - a legendary football player for the Tar Heels - graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1971. His jersey is one of those honored in Kenan Stadium. Don is also a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
Prior to his employment with The Rams Club, Don played football in the National Football League with the Baltimore Colts. He also served as the major gifts director with the Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
Chief Operating Officer

In her role as Chief Operating Officer, Dawn is responsible for providing internal operating support to the Executive Director and serving The Rams Club in managing a wide range of matters on behalf of the organization. Duties include close collaboration with the Executive Director and leadership team members to maximize the organization’s performance, operating health, and financial well-being. Primary responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations, including the management of staff and human resource functions, operational budgets, daily administration and support, operating policies and procedures as well as effective collaboration and communication among all internal teams. Dawn will also serve as the liaison between the organization and other internal and external entities as needed for specific functions related to the capital campaign and other projects or initiatives impacting The Rams Club.
Dawn graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1982 with a business degree and a concentration in accounting. Prior to coming to work with The Rams Club in 1984 as an accountant, she worked in corporate accounting with the No Nonsense Hosiery Division of Kayser-Roth in Greensboro, NC.
Dawn is a native and current resident of Snow Camp, NC, with her husband, Henry. They have three daughters, Brittany, Lindsey, and Morgan who are all proud UNC alums! Along with two sons-in-law, Ben and Justin, they have most recently welcomed their first grandchild, Ella, into their family!
Director of Carolina Athletic Hospitality

Gabi's primary responsibility as the Director of Carolina Athletic Hospitality includes premium seating and hospitality management for Kenan Stadium, the Smith Center, Boshamer Stadium, and Blue Zone events.
In addition to her work with Carolina Athletic Hospitality, Gabi also assists the Colonnade Group with hospitality and fan events at various conference and national championships around the country.
Gabi graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2015 with a BA in Management and Society. Prior to her role as Director, Gabi also served as the Assistant Director for Carolina Athletic Hospitality.
Gabi grew up in Jacksonville, NC and now resides in Carrboro.
Senior Major Gifts Director

Eric's primary responsibilities as a Major Gift Director include the solicitation and cultivation of major gifts. He also works extensively with men's basketball fundraising efforts.
He also provides color commentary for the UNC Basketball radio broadcast, working alongside Jones Angell.
Eric was a 4-year scholarship student-athlete on the UNC Basketball team from 1990-1994. During his time at Carolina, Eric played in two Final Fours and won the 1993 NCAA National Championship. He was drafted ninth overall in the 1993 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics and spent 10 years as a player in the NBA.
In addition to his work with The Rams Club he also founded the Eric Montross Father's Day Basketball Camp benefitting the North Carolina Children's Hospital. He currently serves on the boards of Super Cooper's Little Red Wagon Foundation, Be Loud! Sophie Foundation, and Vaccine Ambassadors.
A native of Indianapolis, IN, Eric and his wife Laura currently live in Chapel Hill.
Development Intern – Major Gifts

Lewis joined The Rams Club staff in May 2019 as a Graduate Assistant, primarily assisting the Member Services Team. His primary responsibilities include serving as the front line of communication for all Rams Club members, assisting with managing the Student Ram and Recent Grad programs, and assisting with game days and special events.
Lewis is originally from Cedar Falls, IA. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 2017 with a B.S. in Sport & Recreation Management and a minor in Business Administration. Lewis has spent time working with the University of Iowa Athletic Department, Iowa Wolves, Cedar Rapids Kernels, and Chicago Blackhawks.
Lewis moved to North Carolina in August of 2018 to pursue his master’s degree in Sport Administration at UNC.
Gift Processing & Programs Coordinator

Katie serves as the gift processor and programs coordinator for the Rams Club. In this role, she is responsible for the matching gift program, as well as processing scheduled payments, and daily gift processing and donor relations. Katie also assists the financial team with reconciling reports, and monthly processing of development reports. In addition to these duties, she also provides administrative support to Diane Aldridge, CFO and General Counsel of the Rams Club.
Katie graduated from Connecticut College in 1990 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and then from Indiana University, Bloomington in 1993 with a Master's Degree in Sports Management and Marketing.
Prior to joining the Rams Club, Katie worked as a teacher assistant for Orange County Schools for 11 years, and previously served as the head Women's Soccer coach at Western Michigan University.
Katie lives in Hillsborough with her husband, Patrick. They have two children, Meghan, who is a freshman at UNC-Chapel Hill, and Daniel, who is a sophomore at Orange High School.

Seth graduated from UNC in 2005 with his Master's degree in Exercise and Sport Science (Sport Administration). He served in a number of roles with Tar Heel Sports Properties at UNC before joining The Rams Club in 2016. Prior to his time in Chapel Hill, Seth was a consultant for Accenture and also graduated from the University of Virginia, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Commerce.
A native of Newport News, VA, Seth now lives in Apex, NC with his wife, Wendy, and their two children, Jacob and Emily.

Laura Caroline serves as the Director of Communications, with primary responsibilities of coordinating digital and print messaging for The Rams Club.
Prior to joining The Rams Club, Laura Caroline served as the Communications, Marketing, and Website Coordinator for the UNC Greensboro School of Education and as the Assistant Director of Media Services for Campbell University Athletics.
A native of Autryville, N.C., and lifelong Tar Heel, Laura Caroline graduated from UNC in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in sports administration and earned a master's degree in sports counseling from the California University of Pennsylvania in 2014. She lives in Greensboro with her husband, Ross, and their dog and cat, Wrigley and Charlie.

Jip works with the major gifts team to cultivate and solicit donations for scholarships, capital campaigns and sport endowments.
Previously, Jip worked with Learfield at Tar Heel Sports Properties, managing corporate sponsorships to generate revenue for North Carolina Athletics.
Jip earned his Master's degree in Exercise and Sport Science (Sport Administration) from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in 2016. In 2014, Jip graduated with a BA in Sociology from Davidson College where he was a four-year letterman on the Wildcats baseball team.

Tim is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the Campaign for Carolina Athletics – a $500M effort to help secure the financial future of our Athletics program. In addition to leading our campaign efforts, Tim’s primary responsibilities include leading our Major Gift Team, serving as a Principal/Major Gift fundraiser and collaborating with our Executive Director and COO in providing oversight for the day-to-day operations of the Foundation. Tim will work closely with key UNC Athletic Department administrators and coaches, Rams Club staff, University Development leadership and our boards to ensure our success.
Tim graduated from UNC with his master's in Exercise and Sport Science (Sport Administration) and has served in a number of roles at The Rams Club since joining the staff in 2005. Prior to his time in Chapel Hill, Tim was a consultant for Accenture and graduated from Boston College in 1997, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Political Science and was captain of the Men's Tennis team.
A native of Hyde Park, NY, Tim and his wife, Kristi, reside in Chapel Hill with their four children, Ella, Sienna, Tyler, and Hudson.
Chief Strategy & Communications Officer

Matt is the Chief Strategy & Communications Officer. In his role, Matt works closely with the staff and The Rams Club boards to develop best strategic practices for the organization. He also oversees the communications program for the organization.
Matt received his Bachelor's degree from Davidson College before earning a Master's in Sport Management from the University of Richmond.
Prior to his time with The Rams Club, Matt has worked in athletic departments at Davidson, SMU, and East Tennessee State, and enjoyed a previous stint with The Rams Club.
A native of North Carolina and current resident of Cary, Matt and his wife, Kat, have two daughters, Kaylee and Reagan.
Human Resources Administrator

Robin currently serves at the Human Resources liaison, providing payroll and benefit management to the Rams Club Staff. Her previous role was supporting the Chief Operations Officer along with performing the afternoon Reception Desk responsibilities.
Robin graduated with a BA from the University of South Carolina. Prior to her work with The Rams Club, Robin was employed by IBM Corporation with 31 years of service. Her career primarily focused on providing financial, marketing, and administrative support to the Global Sales Executive Team.
Robin volunteers with Collie Rescue of the Carolinas. She assists with the care of the Collies available for adoption and educates adults and children on the requirements of responsible dog ownership.
A native of Spotswood, NJ, Robin and her husband, Greg, reside in the community of Silk Hope.
Associate Executive Director – Scholarship & Legacy Gifts

Sue's primary responsibility as the Associate Executive Director – Scholarship & Legacy Gifts for The Rams Club is the oversight of the scholarship endowment and planned giving programs, as well as the new women’s athletics initiative FORevHER Tar Heels.
Sue - arguably the greatest swimmer in Carolina history - graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UNC in 1984 with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting. During her time as a swimmer for Carolina, Sue was an 11-time AIAW/NCAA national champion, named to the 1980 U.S. Olympic Team, selected as a Patterson Medal recipient, and inducted into the Verizon Academic All-America Hall of Fame and the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame.
Prior to joining The Rams Club in 1989, Sue was a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst & Whinney.
A native of Hamburg, NY, Sue now resides in Durham, and has three children, Sarah, Shelby, and Shawn as well as two sons-in-law, Will and Seth. She recently welcomed two grandchildren, Jayden and Carter, into the family!
Development Associate – Major Gifts

Dawn serves as the Development Associate for the Major Gifts team, assisting with membership communication, stewardship, special events and fundraising. She is also a manager for the UNC Basketball Museum through the Department of Athletics.
She is a graduate of Peace College and UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Speech Communications. Prior to joining The Rams Club, Dawn worked in the UNC Football department as the morning receptionist and as an assistant for Game Day recruiting events.
Dawn is originally from Oxford, N.C., and currently resides in Chapel Hill. She has three daughters, Taylor (Mik), Meredith (Brett) and Emily. She also has a one-year old grandson, Owen.

As a member of the Scholarship Team, Lea focuses on raising funds for athletic scholarships, capital projects and team support. She assists in all stewardship efforts for our scholarship endowment donors. She also works with the Associate Executive Director for Scholarship and Legacy Gifts to plan, manage and execute The Rams Club and Carolina Athletics’ newest initiative—FORevHER Tar Heels—which aims to champion support for our women student-athletes through mentorship and enhanced career networking opportunities.
Prior to her current position, Lea served on the Major Gifts team as both an Assistant Director and a Development Associate, raising money for the Campaign for Carolina Athletics. She began her career at The Rams Club as a Graduate Assistant on the Annual Fund team, assisting with membership communication, stewardship and special events.
Lea previously interned with Carolina Athletic Hospitality, the University of Oregon and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Athletic Departments. She also served as the Assistant Coordinator of Athlete Services at Track Town USA for the 2014 IAAF World Junior Track and Field Championships.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Lea earned a master's degree in Sport Administration in May 2017 and a B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science - Sport Administration in May 2014.

Sarah Watson joined The Rams Club staff in May 2019 as a Graduate Assistant, primarily assisting the Member Services Team. Sarah is from Lumberton, NC, and is a 2015 graduate of the University of North Carolina, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science. During her time at Carolina, Sarah worked in the athletic department as a Student Office Assistant in the football office, assisting primarily with recruiting operations. Since graduation, Sarah has worked in an administrative role with UNC Health Care, with the UNC Athletic Event Management staff, and as a Ticket Operations Assistant in the UNC athletic ticket office.
Sarah is a graduate student in the Exercise and Sport Science department and will graduate in May 2020 with a master’s degree in Sport Administration.

Deanna, a track and field scholarship student-athlete, graduated from Butler University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. Prior to joining The Rams Club, Deanna worked as Childcare Director for the Metro Atlanta YMCA and as the School and Family Programs Director at Kidzu Children’s Museum in Chapel Hill.
A native of Casey, IL (The Little Town That Made It Big), she now resides in Chapel Hill with her husband, Jimmy, and their son, JT.
Morning Receptionist

Cathy Brickhouse joined The Rams Club staff in July 2019, performing morning Reception Desk responsibilities. Along with her morning desk duties, Cathy assists member services and special events, as well as gameday events with The Rams Club.
Cathy moved to North Carolina in 1969. Her daughters were raised in Hillsborough, NC, and today, each one of them, along with her grandchildren, live in North Carolina. Trips to visit them occur often.
Prior to her employment with The Rams Club, Cathy worked in an administrative role with Smith Breeden Associates, for the Chairman of the Board, followed by Massage Envy at Southpoint and Cary Parkside. She also obtained her CNA certificate, then worked in a private duty setting. Earlier, she worked in the field of dentistry for 23+ years.
Cathy enjoys time with her family and friends, as well as antiquing, thrift shopping, travel, cooking, baking and entertaining.

Kelsey graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018 with a B.S. in Biology and a certificate in Leadership. While at Wisconsin, she was a four-year women’s tennis student-athlete and President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. In addition to her involvement as a student-athlete, Kelsey spent time interning in the University of Wisconsin Athletic Department and with Wilson Sporting Goods.
Kelsey is a native of Ann Arbor, Mich. and will graduate in May 2021 with a master’s degree in Sport Administration from Carolina.
